The
transition from school year to summer has been an
especially difficult one for Jordan.
Transitioning out of his
previous autism program into an in-between phase that we
are still figuring out, and the sudden change from school
every day to the freedom (and chaos) of summer have really
taken a toll on him.
I had the opportunity over
the past several weeks to provide him some extra
one-on-one attention. It seems to be helping to fill
the gap for the short run.
We have spent many hours
over the past month doing activities together, going out
to dinner without the distraction of any siblings, and
doing some one-on-one learning activities. Here are
some pictures from a couple of the activities we did
together.
