There were a lot of things that surprised me about this place. The Punta Cana coastline has the best beaches I have ever seen! It is truly a beautiful country. At the same time, the Dominican Republic has some of the most impoverished neighborhoods I have personally witnessed. It was difficult seeing how people had to live. Click on the images to the left.
